Three tracks on the darker side of contemporary EDM, with a deliberately gritty, DIY sound. "NOT A DREAM" fuses atonal synth melodies with punchy bass-house grooves and a John Carpenter film sample; "SPEED" takes a UKG/bassline style beat and paints it black with ravey synths and the usual focus on the low end; and closer "THE RHYTHM TRACK" strips things down to the basics, with a syncopated groove serving as the foundation for a slowly-building arpeggio that cuts like a chainsaw through the rest of the track.
